My class and I participated in the earth day webcast. I worked on the section about the 3R’s (Reduce,Reuse,Recycle).
Mariner 10
In class each student was assigned a spacecraft. We would have to cite notefacts and images then carry on with the poster design. I was assigned the Mariner 10, which was the first spacecraft to get to 2 planets in one mission (Mercury/Venus). It was originally formed to get to Mercury but it needed to use gravity assist from venus to get home.
Geometric Art
In math class we made objects out of shapes. The math teacher gave us 4 shapes and we only had to use two or 3 for extra. Then we had cut out the 2 shapes. For example: square/base of house, Triangle/Roof to a house, circle/sun. Well that’s what I did. Yhen the class would place the shape on construction paper then color.
The Parts Of The Eye!
My science class studied the parts of the eye. One of the activities we did for this lesson, was to take a photo of our eye. The science teacher then had us label the parts of our eye using the RJH ipads.
